The new movie Zero Dark Thirty chronicles the manhunt for Osama Bin Laden, following a young CIA agent named Maya, who is played by Jessica Chastain. Maya plays a key role in the film’s story of the decade-long hunt for the world’s most dangerous man and wanted man. In Zero Dark Thirty, she the classic and timeless Ray-Ban 3025 sunglasses, with the always-perfect gold frame and dark polarized lenses that have protected eyes and looked great for decades.

Shadesdaddy.com carries a wide variety of Ray-Ban aviators, including the Ray-Ban 3025 001/58. Jessica Chastain pulls off an amazing look of serenity in these sunglasses while maintaining an aura of powerful intelligence. One reason Ray Ban Aviators are popular decade after decade is because they simply look fantastic, and they’re tops at protecting eyes from sunlight and glare. They’re rock-solid dependable both from a fashion point of view and a more practical one.

Ray Ban Aviators have long been a staple of military movies, famously appearing on the face of Tom Cruise in his 80s smash hit movie Top Gun. As Lieutenant Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, Tom Cruise popularized the Ray-Ban 3025s so much that sales jumped 40% after the movie’s release.

The Last Stand is a movie about standing your ground because you’re Arnold Schwarzenegger. And if Arnold is wearing Ray-Ban aviators, you know he means business. Johnny Knoxville is also in this movie, but since he wore his Ray-Ban aviators constantly on Jackass, it’s a little harder to take him seriously. (They both look terrific, though!)

But movies aren’t the only place Ray Bans have found devoted famous fans. Some of rock and roll’s biggest stars have worn them over the years. One of the most internationally famous pop stars in history, Paul McCartney has often been seen sporting Ray-Ban’s aviator sunglasses. Fellow Beatle Ringo Starr was also a fan of them, and musical legend Freddie Mercury was almost never without his pair of Aviators close by.

Perhaps one of the most popular musicians of today, Kanye West, has added Ray Bans to his street style. Seen wearing his Ray Ban aviators at Madison Square Gardens at night, he definitely put his own style stamp on the Aviator look. Kids, don’t try looking this cool at home!

The world of sports is no stranger to the magic of the Aviator either. David Beckham, beloved soccer star, is also seen sporting aviators quite often, often in the presence of his wife, Victoria Beckham (and you know she wouldn’t let him out of the house if he didn’t look great).

The moral of the story is this: Ray Ban Aviators look great on everyone, and they will never go out of style. When you get that assurance, plus the best protection from rays going, choosing a pair of Aviators is a real no-brainer.
